I love 3E - I am SO glad they brought back monks!!
Ok, Dungeons and Dragons is definitely making a comeback, both with old timers getting back in (ahem - fine, we never REALLY left, we just had a long time between adventures) and new Magic trained punks looking for something that isn't pure mathrematical probability + a little luck. Something that is a lot about pulling obscure ideas out of your a** and a LOT of luck. Or at least a LOT of gold. In the playworld. In your mind. YES, it IS fun! Ok, you are probably just too *stupid* to get it...
Well, you don't have to play if you don't want to. Some people can go too far, particularly during a Discussion Of What Is Possible And What Is Not between player and DM.
